Alexander McQueen Spring 2011, Paris Fashion Week

Sarah Burton sent the models down the runway to show her new creations for the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2011 collection during Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France.

As you know, Alexander McQueen sadly passed away earlier this year and it left many fans heart broken. His wonderful brand still continues to go on though as Sarah Burton, the new designer, has taken over and is creating many of his statement making clothes in his name. This collection featured a lot of feathers and bold dresses with tapestry style fabrics, lace and lots of tailoring. Alexander McQueen’s designs are always so daring and out there for me, but he does make some beautiful extravagant shoes!
